First Deputy Prime Minister Discusses Plastic Recycling and Climate Protection with Omniya

His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, received representatives from the Omniya plastic recycling project. Sanaa Al-Ghamlas, CEO of Omniya, presented the project’s core concept, its international certifications, and the critical importance of government intervention at this pivotal stage to mitigate climate change and create alternative revenue streams for the national GDP.

Al-Yousuf expressed his strong interest in the project, pledging to activate it on a wider scale as it aligns with Kuwait’s National Waste Management Strategy. Al-Ghamlas praised His Excellency’s swift response and his commitment to initiating actual change to achieve the "New Kuwait" vision.
