Omniya Contributes to Recycling Damaged Plastic Helmets

The Omniya environmental project announced a collaboration with the Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) to achieve ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals by safely and correctly disposing of damaged plastic helmets. The initiative was attended by Mohammad Al-Munais and Abdulmalik Al-Othman from PIC, and Aya Bader from Omniya.

Aya Bader, General Coordinator of Omniya, noted that this cooperation is the first of its kind. PIC contributed 139 kg of damaged helmets, which saved 417 cubic meters of landfill space and reduced 347 kg of CO2emissions in Kuwait. This effective step serves as a foundation for larger-scale cooperation to support Kuwait’s future environmental vision.
